“I’d been held at arm’s length and all the important decisions were made for me”
“There was little regard for my feelings”
“I felt invisible during the courts”
(‘In Our Shoes’, FJYPB / CAFCASS)
It is a common experience for children / young people to feel like their voice is not heard when they are experiencing divorce / relationship breakdown in their families. We offer one-to-one advocacy packages where we amplify your child’s needs and wishes. Every child is unique and so every journey is different, but below is a guide to our process.
“I didn’t know that someone like Eily existed, but she was able to offer me advice and support which helped me to better manage the transition for my son, T, with his new routine and also the communication between me and my ex-partner. This made me feel less stressed and more confident that I was doing the best that I could for my child. I strongly believe that Eily can help at any stage of separation and beyond, for couples living apart or co-parenting and I’m really glad to know her. I’d happily recommend her (and I have) to everyone I know” – Ms F, consultancy client
We offer a range of packages to suit every family’s situation. Prices are per child but there are discounts available for multiple children in the same family.
Suitable for children where only 1 aspect of their life needs attention. Also a good way to try our approach and see whether it works for your family.
Great for parents with differing approaches. Discovery and feedback calls can be held with parents together or separately.
Best for children and families who have worked with other professionals before. Sharing information leads to a joined-up plan.

A simple quiz about your child’s life. It invites information about which areas are working & which could be working better.
We can review any documents relating to your child that have been drawn up by other professionals who know your child.
We meet with others who are already working with your child, such as teachers, social workers, therapists & family solicitors.
We review all the gathered information and conduct a full analysis of which areas of your child’s life to address.
We draw on our experience to make practical recommendations for how to support your child.
We discuss our recommendations with you & listen to your feedback on the proposed plan of action.
We share a document setting out our personalised path for your child, with specific referrals as necessary.
* We like to involve your child in the calls in an age-appropriate way if possible. We will be led by you, but we are comfortable speaking with children of around 7+.
** The quiz is designed to be completed by your child. We find children of around 7+ can do it themselves. For younger children, we ask both parents to complete it in the way you think your child would – an interesting exercise!
